Davvyd was a
young, idealistic priest of the Morninglord from the Sanctuary of the Coming Day
in Zeidenburg, Barovia. He was taken under the wing of
Dr. Rudolph Van Richten, who
sought to harness his raw fire, by sharing his knowledge of the creatures of
the night.But the doctor's teachings were not enough to save Davvyd from his fate. In 730, he was travelling from Karina to Vallaki to meet Van Richten when he met up with Jerrard, Duffy, Kerri, Leif, and Ludovic. While the group was spending the night in a ruined Terg tower, they were attacked by a relentless group of eyeless undead. Davvyd fought bravely, but fell in battle. He is buried facing east near the Terg ruins.
