LeMot Sediam Juste is the
proprietor of the Scaena theatre, a mysterious building that seems to move
from place to place. It has been spotted in the town of Vallaki in Barovia, the
city of Port-a-Lucine in Dementlieu, the city of Levkarest in Borca, and in the
vast reaches of the Misty Border. Within his theatre, Juste has control over
unrivalled illusions, able to create beautifully realistic lands, objects, and
even people.In 730, he trapped Ludovic, Kerri, Leif, Kukri, Samuel and Duffy in a play called The Feast of Goblyns. They thought they had been mysteriously transported in space and time, but in actuality they never left Juste's stage. When confronted, Juste maintained that they were merely characters, illusions he crafted that had never existed anywhere but the stage. After piercing several layers of illusion and fighting Juste himself, the group was able to escape the theater into the Misty Border, with the assistance of Cynthia DeGreives. Juste was last seen dissolving into the wooden floor of his theater with a scream of pain, while the theater spontaneously burst into flames. The theater was last seen burning amid the Mists.
Records exist of a playwright named Juste who was killed on the opening night of his first tragedy. The theater burned to the ground and none survived, but that was two generations ago, and surely this must be a different Juste... or is it?
